Our Story
Sometimes the places that shape us have a way of calling us back.
Long before The Little French Hen existed, Jennifer was a young mother who fell in love with timeless children's clothing while shopping for her own little ones at a beloved boutique called Peek-A-Boutique. Nestled in the very same Downtown Wallace storefront where The Little French Hen now calls home, it sparked an appreciation for beautifully made children's clothing and the memories woven into every outfit.
Years later, that same storefront became the home of a dream.
In November 2019, The Little French Hen opened its doors with a simple goal: to create a welcoming children's boutique where families could find timeless clothing, meaningful gifts, and pieces worthy of life's most treasured moments.
Just a few months later, the world changed.
Like so many small businesses, we weathered the uncertainty of the pandemic and the challenges that followed. Through every season, one thing remained the same—our love for serving families and celebrating childhood.
Today, we're honored to have helped clothe countless little ones for first birthdays, family photos, beach vacations, holidays, first days of school, church on Sundays, and all of ordinary days that become lifelong memories.
Every family who walks through our doors becomes part of the story we're still writing.
